Who is this for?

You need this as a replacement or additional cable if you want to feed audio into your Active Intercom unit (e.g. music) while routing onboard audio out at the same time (e.g. for your camera recording). A new unit usually comes with an Audio IN/OUT cable already included - in that case you'd only need this as a replacement.

Important: this audio cable is specified for the Mk2 generation of the Active Intercom unit. The unit currently sold is the V3 generation - and the audio cable needs to match the correct generation.
