Who is this for?

For coordination on the ground - tow, launch control, the person at the other end of the strip, club and field communication. IMPORTANT: this is NOT an aviation radio! It transmits on the 2m band and the licence-free PMR band, NOT on the aviation airband (VHF 118-137 MHz). It's not suitable for talking to the tower or on the field frequency from the cockpit - for that you need an airband radio (e.g. the Wouxun KG-R86 or the Yaesu FTA series).
