AirDam Wind Deflector (ABS)

The AirDam wind deflector in ABS closes off the bottom of the helmet and deflects the airflow before it reaches your chin and microphone. Fit it to your MicroAvionics flight helmet and you'll notice the difference straight away: calmer air at your chin and radio calls you can actually understand again.

Who is this for?

An AirDam is a wind deflector that closes off the bottom of the helmet and keeps the airflow away from your chin and microphone. You need this one for retrofitting if your helmet came without an AirDam (e.g. MM020B or MM021) and you want calmer air and better radio in an open cockpit. An ABS AirDam is already included with the MM020A complete set.
