You start the engine, and straight away there's that annoying crackle and hum in your ear, rising with every change in RPM - typical of paramotors and gyros with their noisy ignition systems? The small power filter sits between the onboard power supply and the Active Intercom unit and filters out exactly this electrical noise. That keeps communication clear, even with the engine running. It plugs straight into the unit - no stripping cables, no fiddling.
You only need this if you hear a crackle or hum on the radio with the engine running that rises with RPM - typical for paramotors and gyros. If your audio is already clean, you won't need the filter.
Fitted between the onboard power supply and the MicroAvionics Active Intercom unit, plugging straight into the unit (12 volt ignition circuit, up to 1 amp). For third-party systems it's also available with open cable ends, on request. If in doubt, tell us your model.
Included: the power filter with direct plug for the unit (or with open ends as an alternative). Please state which variant you need.
